What kind of ingredients do you use in your products?
There are a multitude of the finest natural ingredients in our skin care products. Our primary ingredient is cold-pressed extra virgin rapeseed oil, a deeply moisturising oil rich in Omega-3 which has wonderful benefits for the skin. Rapeseed oil can be found in most of the natural skin care we produce. We also use a wide selection of pure essential oils, to provide both function and fragrance in our products. Other ingredients include Chilean Soap bark, Aloe vera, Hemp oil, Argan Oil, Seabuckthorn and many more. Every product page includes a full list of ingredients, if you would like to know more.
I have very dry skin. What would you recommend?
We have a selection of products suitable for dry skin. We have formulated a range of facial skin care for dry and mature skin, the range includes a cleanser, toner and moisturiser to replenish, nourish and intensely moisturise dry skin. For the rest of your body, try our indulgent body butter with luxurious Shea butter, it’s deeply moisturising and smells wonderful. If dry hands need treatment, seek help from our natural hand lotion, the non-greasy formula nourishes and hydrates dry, over-worked hands.
What would you recommend as a daily skin care regime?
It’s important to establish a daily skin care regime for your particular skin type. This will ensure that your skin always looks and feels its best. A good natural skin care regime should include a cleanser to gently remove dirt, makeup and unclog pores, a toner to refine pores and clarify skin, a serum to soothe skin and provide anti-ageing benefits (prevention is better than cure) and finally a moisturiser to hydrate and nourish skin. Where are your products made?
All of our natural skin care products are made in the UK.
Why should I use hand lotion?
Our hands are often exposed to the elements, they’re hard-working and we (should) wash them very regularly. All of these factors can cause dry, damaged skin, which may lead to chapped and very sore hands, especially in winter. Using a good quality, natural hand lotion will ensure that your hands are nourished and moisturised and look great too.
Do you test on animals?
No, we do not test any of our products on animals.
What are your fragrances made from?
Our fragrances are formulated using a selection of carefully blended natural essential oils.
What’s the best way to apply moisturiser?
Moisturiser should be applied to slightly damp skin right after cleansing and toning. Apply moisturiser to clean hands spread it by rubbing your palms together. Massage into your face in small circles starting from the centre of the cheeks and moving outwards, making sure to include your eyebrows and lids. Many people recommend avoiding the delicate area under the eye as some lotions and creams can cause the skin to become puffy. However our Day and Night Moisturiser for Mature and Dry skin is gentle enough to be used under the eyes, as long as you apply lightly and don’t rub too hard. Remember to moisturise your neck too, using upward strokes.
