Why Natural Candles?

Nearly all candles you’ll find in supermarkets are made from paraffin wax and animal fats, with a small number that are made from beeswax.   When paraffin candles are burned, they release black petroleum carbon soot deposits.   Plant-based candles burn cooler and more uniformly, lasting far longer than traditional candles, as well as being biodegradable.    All ingredients in our candles’ natural wax are made from sustainable and renewable annual crops.  The wick is lead free and made from natural fibre. 

Our candles are vegan-friendly and as such contain no animal by-products (eg beeswax) whatsoever.   They are not tested on animals and are made in the UK.
